Qualytics is building a data quality surveillance platform to help our customers monitor and actively defend against data pipeline corruption. Our innovative technology includes a Data Firewall that monitors and learns from the flow of data, allowing us to detect and respond to anomalies in real time with active measures such as a message-level quarantining. The Opportunity

We’re seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive the success of our Qualytics platform. As a technical expert and customer advocate, you’ll play a critical role in positioning and demonstrating the value of our solution to prospective clients. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced CEO and sales team, leveraging your technical expertise to win the trust of customers and drive revenue growth. You’ll be a trusted advisor and advocate for our customers, mastering the art of selling Qualytics and delivering compelling demonstrations that showcase its value.

With a strong background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, you’ll bring a deep understanding of data quality concepts and technologies to the table. Your exceptional communication and presentation skills will enable you to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences, and your results-oriented mindset will drive you to meet or exceed sales targets. In this fast-paced, customer-focused environment, you’ll have the chance to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contribute to best practices, and participate in value-added activities such as community involvement, case studies, and reference calls. What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the sales team to design and deliver tailored demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that showcase the value of the Qualytics platform
  • Build and maintain deep expertise in Qualytics and data quality, applying this knowledge to solve customer challenges and drive revenue growth
  • Take ownership of the technical sales process, from initial discovery to close, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Work closely with the CEO, sales team, and other stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and drive business growth
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, and use this insight to inform and improve the sales process and product development

Who You Are:

  • A technical sales professional with a passion for technology and customer-centric approach.
  • Have a strong foundation in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and experience with data quality concepts and technologies.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and concise language.
  • Take a consultative approach to sales, understanding customer needs and pain points, and tailoring solutions to meet their unique challenges.
  • Enjoy staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and are excited about the opportunity to represent Qualytics in the market.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering or similar technical role, preferably within the software industry
  • Proven experience in positioning and demonstrating complex technical solutions to customers

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data quality concepts and technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and data engineering concepts
  • Proficiency in presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Sales Acumen:

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust with customers and understand their unique challenges
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Desire and ability to give and receive rigorously candid feedback

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
